Winter holidays in Alta Badia in the Dolomites
Skiing holidays with panoramic view s overlooking the famous “Gran Risa" ski slope
Spending your holidays in Alta Badia, in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, means enjoying 130 kilometres of slopes of various levels of difficulty, 53 state-of-the-art lift systems and skiing connections to over 500 kilometres of slops in the ski area of the Sella massif. Alta Badia boasts a central position in the DolomitiSuperski ski area (counting 450 modern and comfortable lift systems and 1.220 kilometres of slopes) and it is a privileged starting point for setting off on some of the most beautiful panoramic ski routes of the entire alpine area, such as the Sellaronda circuit, the Great War Tour and the ascension to the Marmolada glacier.
Non-skiers can enjoy unforgettable adventures too: they can either go for long walks or on snowshoe hikes across silent woods and snowy landscapes, or tonify their bodies on the amazing cross-country ski track of mount Armentarola; alternatively, they can dash down the many sledding slopes of the area, go on a romantic horse ride or go ice skating.
But when the afternoon is over skiers or non-skiers know what their favourite rendezvous are: the many après ski bars at the foot of the slopes are a fun spot to drink and dance and to make new friends.
